First Fandom Experience is a multi-year project.
Our plans for 2019 include:

The Visual History of Science Fiction Fandom
Special Preview Edition

The Special Preview edition is a 9″x12″, 28-page booklet showing a sample of the content to come in Volume 1. It features high-quality scans of fan-produced content from the 1930s, such as fanzines and correspondence. It also includes an original 2-page graphic novel segment based on an actual historic fan event.

The Preview Edition comes with two inserts:
– A facsimile reproduction of The Planet v1n1, the first sci-fi fan club organ originally published in July 1930.
– An 11″x15″ timeline of fan activities from 1930 to 1939, including a chart of the total number of pages of fan produced content in each year. (See the digital version here.)

Cover price: $20

The first 50 copies are numbered and signed by the Editors and eligible for a discount of $20 on any future FFE publication.
