Special Preview Edition
The Special Preview edition is a 9″x12″, 28-page booklet showing a sample of the content to come in future FFE publications. It features high-quality scans of fan-produced content from the 1930s, including excerpts from rare fanzines and never-before-published correspondence. It also includes an original 2-page graphic novel segment based on a key event in early fan history.
The Preview Edition includes two inserts:
– A facsimile reproduction of The Planet v1n1, the first sci-fi fan club organ originally published in July 1930.
– An 11″x15″ timeline of fan activities from 1930 to 1939, including a chart of the total number of pages of fan produced content in each year. (See the digital version here.)
